The first written records of the bagel date to the year 1610 and is a polish-Jewish tradition.  Wouldn’t it be fun to learn how to make this wonderful ancient bread? Our expert guest baker Carol Tucker will teach you the fun techniques of making bagels from scratch!  Enjoy some wonderful jams, and honey along with your freshly-made bagels! A steaming pot of tea will accompany!

A long-standing tradition at Fezziwig’s is our Snowy Winter Tea Party!  What a wonderful way to catch up on with your friends after the rush of the holidays!  Our tables will be decorated in winter whites & creams giving a charming atmosphere of cozy winter.  Our menu today will include freshly baked scones with a hearty winter soup, followed by sweets, savories and unlimited cups of delicious tea!  This is an adult menu and there are no take home boxes available. Ages 8 and older are welcome to attend with at least one adult. 

If you have more than 6 people in your group, please call the store for availability as we may be able to accommodate. 618-726-2230.

Sales tax will be added (8.85%) but there is no tipping expected.

Today we’ll go over the basics of the Instant Pot and explore amazing recipes that you’ll make during class.  We’ll start with two easy but amazing staples of boiled eggs and baked potatoes. Oh, just wait…you’ll see! Then we’ll make fabulous pork carnitas (a great substitute for taco tuesday) and a Caribbean Chicken, both done in 45 minutes.

This is always one of our best classes and one that everyone who wants to learn about premium loose leaf teas should attend.  Fezziwig's own Ellen Leaf-Moore is one of just about one-hundred Specialty Tea Institute Certified Level 4 Tea Educators.  Ellen works with our tea sources to curate some of our teas and tea blends.  You'll learn about the history of tea, where the teas come from and proper brewing methods.  The differences between black, green, oolong, pu-erh, and white teas will amaze you.  You'll be so glad you came to this class!

Reservations must be made at least 72 hours in advance of the event.  If the event does not have enough reservations by that time, there is the liklihood the event will be canceled.

Customer cancellations will be accepted up until 72 hours prior to the event without penalty.  After that, there is no refund - SORRY, NO EXCEPTIONS. 
You can give away or resell your reservation but we must be notified who the person will be that is taking over your reservation.

All Hands-on Classes are limited to students age 12 and older unless otherwise noted.  All Classes and Tastings that include Wine are restricted to age 21 and older.  We card.

We reserve the right to substitute guest chefs, recipes or ingredients if necessary.
